Label and Packaging Manufacturers
It refers to the printing ink and security technology that can be applied directly onto different label surfaces or onto the package within the scope of the system, will be used for printing the DMS logo, has certain verification criteria to make counterfeiting and system deception more difficult, and whose use is deemed appropriate by the Mint within the framework of these criteria.
Label and packaging manufacturers that perform printing on packages or labels within the scope of this system must carry out system-specific markings using special ink. Accordingly, the label and packaging manufacturers that will operate in this area will be authorized by the Mint, and the special ink will be supplied free of charge to label and packaging manufacturers by the Mint. The registration of products belonging to different branches with the same tax number should be carried out through the central branch as a single registration. If the facilities have different tax numbers, a new registration must be created for each facility.
After approval is granted by the Mint, the inks needed by the Label and Packaging Manufacturer will be delivered to the authorized Label and Packaging Manufacturer within a maximum of 2 weeks. After delivery, responsibility for the special ink will belong to the Label and Packaging Manufacturer.
In the pre-qualification application process, Label and Packaging Manufacturers are required to: have an ISO 9001 Quality Management System Certificate; have an ISO 14001 Environmental Management Certificate or have initiated the certification process; and have an OHSAS 18001/ISO 45001 Occupational Health and Safety Management System Certificate or have initiated the certification process.
